Commentary
Sherd of a large vessel from the Tel Haror temple complex, MB III, in clay of the Myrtos-Pyrgos region. Olivier reads three logograms: animal head, cloth, figs. The script, Cretan Hieroglyphic or Linear A, is open (RILA-S1 D 13).
Epigraphic note
Three logograms: animal head (BOS), cloth (TELA+TE), figs (FIC), as Olivier reads them in the editio princeps (RILA-S1 D 13; Younger). In the facsimile the TE hatching is drawn inside the cloth sign, a ligature, not WA followed by TE. Whether the script is Cretan Hieroglyphic or Linear A, RILA-S1 leaves open.
