Notes
Geez ʿarīš 'hut, tent' is from Arabic ʿarīš (HALOT 889; LGz. 71). Arabic ʿarīš 'a booth, or shed, or thing constructed for shade' (Lane 2000) is another sense, with Sab ʿrys2 '?shed, hut' (SD 20), which Sabaweb lemma 3830 also reads 'thrones'.
