Notes
Biella 172 sets Arabic ḥaẓara 'forbid, prohibit' and ḥaẓr 'ban' beside the Sabaic. The noun 'enclosure' is 665 (Arabic ḥiẓār, Lane 595–596; Sab ḥẓrm 'enclosed, fenced territory', Biella 172). Not 2711 *ḥarām- 'sacred ban' or 3680 *zgr 'to restrain, check, forbid'.
