Notes
Proto-MSA *prr 'to yawn (reflexive-intensive stem)' (SEDonline 1490). From an original meaning 'to divide, to separate', compatible with PS *prr: Akk. parāru (D) 'to break up, to disperse', Ugr. prr 'to break', Hbr. prr 'to break, to destroy' (Kogan 2015:568 apud SEDonline 1490). Cf. 515 *pVr- 'tear off; break; cut'.
