Commentary

HT 123+124a .6 DA-TU OLIV 15, *308 4¼, KI-RO ¾, the fourth holder after KI-TA-I gittī, PU-*131A and SA-RU šarru (GORILA I 211); TU (AB69) in the SigLA crop, which labels it KI. DA ḏā as in DA-NA-SI Ḏā-Naśiʾ, TU the nominative -tu: ḏātu stands alone with its quantities, as DU ḏū does (ZA 10b, ZA 31), the woman of a house as the Sabaic PNf ḏt + clan name. Side b of the tablet lists DU-MA-I-NA ḏū-maʿīna. Rival: daṯʾu ‘spring pasture’, a field name; dīšu, esikti dīšim nisik ‘we have assigned the spring grass (for pasture)’ (ARM 6 23:8; CAD D 163–164). Weak points: ḏāt is elsewhere bound to a following noun; ZA-TI zāt writes the demonstrative with Z at Knossos. One attestation. Cf. DU-MA-I-NA.
