Commentary
KH 10 .3 I-PA-SA-JẠ · QA-*118, JA dotted on both copies, before A-KI-PI-E-TE GRA 90 (GORILA III 37). Nuzi Ipšaja, Ip-ša-a-a, Ip-šá-a-a, "Probably hypocoristic for Ipša-halu" (Gelb, Purves, and MacRae 1943, 220); the element ipš- is Hurrian (ibid., 220). The coda p takes a dead A: Ip-ša-a-a gives I-PA-SA-JA. JA is dotted and there is one witness.
