Commentary

PH 6: I-NA-WA · A-RI / I-ZU-RI-NI-TA / A-RI / I-DA-PA₃-I-SA-RI, the name governed by A-RI harrī ‘mountain of’. Feminine counterpart of ZU-RI-NI-MA (KN Zb 52, masculine with mimation). I- is a prosthetic vowel (cf. I-DA-MA-TE beside DA-MA-TE); ZU-RI-NI writes the base ṯawrīn-, the bull word with relational -īn, ZU read ṯu, a proposed value: Ug. ṯr ‘bull’ (DULAT 916), Old Syrian ṯuwr ‘bull; DN’ (GlOS 2, 330). -TA is the feminine -t where the masculine has -MA. -TA is the diptote genitive of a feminine proper name after A-RI, as Ug. ḥāmiyātu ʾugarita ‘the walls of Ugarit’ (Huehnergard 2012, 40; Tropper 2000, §54.112) and Arb. names in -at of more than three consonants (Fischer 2002, §153). Weak point: ZU = ṯu is a proposed value. One attestation.
