Commentary

MA 2b: ]-RE-TI 4, ]TI 1, JA-KU 2, TI[, a roster of small whole numbers on a three-sided bar (DU-RA 5 on face a). JA-KU matches Amorite ia-ku-ú (Gelb 1980, no. 3314) sign for sign: final *-y is lost in both, and /qu/ is written KU. Same root as KO-JA. JA-KU-TI (KN 1a) carries the same base. Rival: JA-KWUN-U, ia-ku-nu (Gelb 1980, no. 3309), with final n unwritten. Two signs, one attestation.
