Commentary
KN Zc 7, an inked vessel: JA-SA-RA-A-NA-NE, written without a divider. JA-SA-RA | A-NA-NE yašara ḥanān ‘righteous is (thy) grace’, the predicate before its noun, as kî-yāšār dəbar-YHWH ‘for righteous is the word of YHWH’ (Ps 33:4) and kî-yāšār YHWH ‘for YHWH is righteous’ (Ps 92:16). Ebla has the form as a name, a-sa-ra yašara ‘the just one’ (Pagan 1998, row 804). Weak point: no divider marks the boundary. One attestation. See JA-SA-SA-RA-ME and JA-SA.
