Commentary
HT 128a .4 MA-RI, both signs whole, after GRA+KU 4 at the end of the face; face b opens with GRA+KU 6 and no word before it, MA-RI’s entry carried over (GORILA I 221). A barley list by recipient. Rival: Mari on the Euphrates, whose eighteenth-century archive records Caphtorian weapons, textiles and shoes (Cline 2014, 19); Ugarit still names ʿṯtrt Mrh, ʿAṯtart of Mari (KTU 1.100:78; RGTC 12/2, 186).
