Commentary
HT 117a, a personnel list: NA-DA-RE 1, beside MI-TU, KU-PA₃-NU and TE-JA-RE. Nadr ‘Vow’, √n-d-r ‘to vow’: G /nadara/, prefix /yaddur-/ with the n assimilated (Huehnergard 2012), BH nādar. Amorite NDR ‘to vow’ (Gelb 1980, §0.7) gives nadir- ‘vowed one’ as a name, which fits the roster slot, and LB no-da-ro (KN As(1) 609, personnel) keeps the n-d-r frame. Rival: Gordon’s Egyptian name ‘of-the-hand-of-Re’. One attestation.
