- HT 70]QA-*118-SA 2 ¹⁄₄[its portion; rival qadaša 'holy portion' (needs *118 = d)
Commentary
HT 70 .2 ]QA-*118-SA 2¼, broken before QA, part of *118 dotted (GORILA I 123), after NI · TE 30 and before I 3. With *118 = ṭa there is no q-ṭ-s root; QA-*118 (KH 10) with the suffix -ša ‘its, her’ gives qaṭʿ-ša ‘its portion’ (Lane 2990), a pre-*s > *h suffix. Rival: qōdeš ‘holy portion’ (HALOT 1076), which needs plain d, a value only possible for *118. A lost sign before QA would change the word. One witness.
