Commentary
HT 20 .2–.3 QE-KU-RE · DI ½, whole and undotted, the second entry under PA-RO-SU in a list where every entry takes a fraction (GORILA I 37). kik-kᵊrē, a construct before the commodity sign DI, as Hebrew kikkᵊrê kesep ‘talents of silver’ (2 Kgs 5:5). QE at its k value; Ugarit writes the word with ka₄, the QA sign (DULAT 430–31). Rival: the name Qaqqaru, spelled QA-QA-RU elsewhere at Haghia Triada. One witness. See QA-KU-RE, KI-KI-RA-JA and KE-KI-RU.
