Commentary

HT 7a: QE-TI · VIR+[?] heads a list of five men with numbers. Akk. qātu ‘hand; custody, charge’ (CAD Q 183), the word that marks whose charge a list records; QE writes qā. Cf. QẸ-TI-RA-DU · VIR+[?] (HT 58), in the same slot. Rival: a personal name, as Ebla ga-ti qāti ‘hand’ (Pagan 1998, row 1975). One attestation. See KA-TI.
