Commentary

HT 8b .1 SU-PU₂-*188 1, heading the list, before PA₃-*188 2 and QA-*310-I 1⅜ (Haghia Triada, Villa Magazine). SU-PU₂ sapu ‘bowl, basin’ (see SU-PU) with the commodity *188 buṭnu ‘terebinth’ (CAD B 358): Heb. boṭnîm ‘pistachio nuts’ (Gen 43:11; HALOT 121), Ug. bṭm ‘pistachio’ (DULAT 249); one bowl of terebinth nuts. SU-PU₂ alone on HT 63, under the personnel sign *305, is the name Ṣubʾu, a homograph; here it is bound to *188, as PA₃ is in PA₃-*188. See *188 and PA₃-*188.
