Commentary

PL Zf 1, a silver pin from beside Platanos Tholos A: ]TA · WI-TE-JA-MU · U-QE-TI · JA-SA-SA-RA-ME (GORILA IV 161). WI = wid(d)-, as in WI-DI-NA Widdinā, dd unwritten before t; TE-JA-MU = ti(h)āmu, h unwritten, JA the glide. Construct ‘beloved of the Deep’, the title type of Ug. ydd il. Sign dispute: GORILA reads WI and MU, both doubtful; a second reading of the facsimile takes the fourth sign as RU, which gives no reading. -MU the nominative the Amorite construct names keep, as SU-MU-A-BU-UM beside SU-MU-A-BI-IM (Gelb 1980, nos. 5606, 5608). One attestation.
