Notes
HALOT 1642, root A. Ug. ṯql survives only in the noun ‘shekel’ 2. Distinct from the homonym B ‘take, remove’ (JArm. šᵉqal, Syr. šᵉqal, Mnd. ŠQL, Ug. šql; HALOT 1642). Hajouz 2013, 717 reads VE 1184 ti-iš-tá-qì-lum as /tištaqilum/ ‘balance’ (Gt nominal form) or /tištaqqilum/ (Dt), where Krebernik 1983, 42 has /tiṯtaḳḳilum/.
