Commentary

PH 2 .1 A-SE-TU-*21F 1, the first entry, above RA-O-DI-KI 60, PI-RU-E-JU 60 and SE-SA-PA₃ 60, whole and undotted (GORILA I 288–289). aš-tu-ḫa with *21F = ḫa, SE writing š with the e of ašte: the Nuzi woman’s name ᶠAš-du-uḫ-ḫa-a-a (NPN 37), Hurrian aštuḫḫi ‘feminine’ (Laroche GLH 62). Rivals: the line as a heading, ‘female (ones)’, reading GORILA’s 1 as the first stroke of RA (Younger, Linear A Texts); A-SE ʾaššē + an unread TU-*21F. One witness.
