Commentary
HT 11a (Haghia Triada, Villa Magazine, LM IB): A-RU-RA ]3, KA-RO-NA 2, *322-RI 1, KU-RO 10, three entries in one total, so a recipient. KA writes /qa/: the k-signs cover k, g and q (Gordon 1966, §142). Horn names are common across Semitic: Amorite Qar-ni-li-im (Huffmon 1965, 58; element qarn- ‘horn, strength’, 259), Middle Babylonian Qarni-Ana (ORACC P503266), Middle Assyrian Qarna-Adad (ORACC P282214), Neo-Assyrian Qarnaya (ORACC P336263), and Hebrew Qeren-happûk, a daughter of Job (Job 42:14). One attestation. See I-KU-RI-NA.
