Commentary

KH 7b, a Khania vessel allocation tablet, standalone. Three readings: banātu ‘daughters’, a personnel category, PA for b (Akk. fem. pl. of bintu, Ug. bnt, Heb. bānōt); panātu ‘faces, portions’, share categories (Akk., Heb. pānîm); and (Ku)bānatu, a devotee title, the tail of KU-PA-NA-TU, the feminine of Kubaba, which Khania’s Anatolian contact layer favours. KU-PA-NA-TU carries the KU- that PA-NA-TU lacks. One attestation. See PO-TO-KU-RO.
