Commentary

HT 8a .1–2 JE-DI · OLE+KI 10 PA₃ | KA-RA-TI 1½: PA₃ is the last sign of line 1, KA-RA-TI the first of line 2, in a list sharing out 10 units of oil. Hebrew bāqār, fem.pl. -āti. Rival: PA₃ a transaction sign closing line 1 and KA-RA-TI a recipient (GORILA V apud Schrijver 2014, 7 n. 6). HT 8b opens its second section the same way, 5 · PA₃ · *188 2, and PA₃ stands alone on HT 34.6 (PA₃ 70, KI-RO 30 = SA+MU+KU 100), HT 9b, 93a and 132. One attestation.
