Commentary
A recipient on both tablets: HT 8a TE-*301 2 in the OLE+KI list between PA 3½ and QA-*310-I ¾ (QA-*310-I receives again on HT 8b); HT 98a TE-*301 ¾ between DI-RE-DI-NA and RO-KE. Tēnā ‘Fig’: TE-*301 writes the shape of Hebrew təʾēnāh ‘fig’ with the ʾ lost, as in Judaic Aramaic tēnəṯā (HALOT 1675). A fruit-tree name as a personal name, as Hebrew Tamar ‘date palm’ (HALOT 1756) and Ugaritic tmr (DULAT 859). Weak point: *301 = na is a proposed value, and no other fig-name is attested. Two attestations. See TI.
