Commentary

Pair with HT19: same scribe (HT Scribe 18), findspot, heading and second recipient; different quantities on every line and a different third recipient (Siddāri here, Dūmatī there). Member of the ‘X 𐄁 TE 𐄁 COMMODITY’ account-heading family (HT9a, HT13, HT14, HT21, HT40, HT42+59, HT62+73). Three allocations: the heading institution takes the wine figure itself (arithmetic reconciles on neither tablet—the heading is its own entry, not a total), then crown, then steward. SA-RO is a royal allocation, not ‘opening of account’. RA-*164-TI carried inline per the HT96b *516 precedent for unread signs.
