Commentary
TE stands with VIN in the heading of every HT wine tablet and with the large barley entries of HT 40, 52 and 133 (Montecchi 2010, 17, 19). It marks commodity-number entries on 54 documents, and 25 HT nodules carry it alone (HT Wa 1122–1146). terûmā ‘contribution, offering’ (HALOT 1788), Ug. trmt ‘offering’, trmt lbš w ktn ‘an offering: a garment and a tunic’ (KTU 1.43:3; DULAT 866); TE abbreviates it, and VIN+TE is a wine-offering. Weak point: KU stands beside the full KU-RO kull, where no TE-RU-MA stands beside TE. See RU-MA.
