Commentary
RE writes le-, the preposition ‘to, for’, whose vowel goes with Arabic li (Gordon 1966 §161; Heb. lə-, HALOT 507). On administrative tablets it introduces quantities: HT 32 OLE+NE · RE 104, ‘libation oil for 104’; HT 66 TA-MI · RE 1; PK Zb X RE ⅓. On HT 27a RE 20, and on HT 27b RE 14, RE 70[ and RE ]40, each after SA n (SA 1, SA 4, SA 4), RE n is a counted entry, with no reading there.
