Notes
Distinct from *yayn- ‘wine’. The tīrōš/dāgān/yiṣhār triad is the standard OT agricultural-produce formula. Karatepe pairs Phoenician trš with šbʿ ‘abundant food’: wkn hqrt z bʿlt šbʿ wtrš ‘and may this city be(come) the possessor of abundant food and wine’, KAI 26 A III 7/9 (Krahmalkov 499).
