Commentary

ZA 10b .1–2 DU-RE-ZA-SE *131B 5, the word before its own logogram, where ARKH 2 .1–2 has KU-RA *131B 5 (GORILA III 6–7, 168–171). ZA 10a .5 DU-RE-ZA-SE 2 closes a list opened by TA-NA-TE; ZA 20 .1 ]DU-RE-ZA-SE[, RE dotted, broken at both ends, over SI-TE-TU, SI-TU and TE-AROM (GORILA III 193). Ugaritic trṯ ‘new wine’ (DULAT 867), Hebrew tîrôš ‘must’ (HALOT 1727): DU for t, stops unmarked for voice, and ZA for ṯ; the u and e against *tīrāṯ- are a vowel mismatch only. -SE the Zakros terminative, as MI-ZA-SE. At Khania with the article ha- (A, h unwritten, as A-SI-KI-RA on KH 20): ]DU-RE-ZA · CYP+E ½ on KH 20, broken before (GORILA III 53), A-DU-[·]-ZA CYP on KH 11 (GORILA III 39), and A-DU-RE[ on KH 4. Rival: √d-r-š ‘demand, require’, of dues in 2 Chr 24:6 (lōʾ dāraštā … ləhābîʾ ‘you have not required … to bring’).
