Commentary
GORILA I, 212–213. The tablet is broken through line 4 after KA-NA, and the missing area probably contained a numerical entry. The divider after TI-DA-TA is not the numeral 1. Under Corazza et al. 2021, J+L2 equals 11/20 and A701 is tentatively 1/24; those authors excluded HT123b itself from their sample because its readings and arithmetic are doubtful. Cash and Cash 2012 explore a three-group account with deductions but require disputed readings and restorations, so their arithmetic model is not adopted here. The closing KU-RO and KI-RO establish a total and an outstanding amount, but the damaged intermediate entries do not permit a complete reconstruction.
Epigraphic note
Two joining fragments from the Casa del Lebete; the central lacuna interrupts line 4 after KA-NA and probably removes a numerical entry before SI-DU. GORILA and Younger read TU-PA-DI-DA, with AB003 PA; the imported SigLA layer instead labels that sign AB002 RO. The GORILA/Younger reading is retained while the conflict is recorded. The final KI-RO is 5 followed by a break, not 5+A701. The divider after TI-DA-TA is a word-separator dot, not the numeral 1. Cash and Cash (2012, 53–55) stress the uncertain divider/number readings and missing quantity; Corazza et al. (2021, 8–9) exclude HT 123b from their fractional sample because of doubtful readings and scribal errors.
