Commentary
Context: Two-section Haghia Triada allocation ledger, Casa Room 7. The preserved integer entries sum to 110; the GRA+K+L and GRA+B ligatures carry metrological riders and are not securely distinct grain species. DA-ME is read damu ‘blood’, a recurring quantified ritual category; rivals dimtu ‘district’ and Imperial Aramaic dmy nksyʾ ‘the value of the property’ (TAD B2.6 R.14), a later comparison. QA-RA₂-WA is read qalwa ‘parched grain’ (√q-l-w): it closes the HT95a/b set where QE-RA₂-U qelwu stands; rivals Ugaritic qrwn ‘offering’ and Linear B qa-ra₂-wo, a personal name. KU-NI-SU is kunīšu ‘emmer’, an Akkadian loan (Nuzi ku-ni-šu, CAD K 537), with the grain sign on its line. HT86b is an erased draft of the opening lines, not an independent witness.
Epigraphic note
The face is substantially preserved. Abrasion at the upper right does not require restoring any word. The horizontal rule separates the A-KA-RU and A-DU sections. HT86b is an erased draft of the opening lines, not an independent witness. GORILA’s QA-RA₂-WA, including final WA, is retained.
