Commentary
ZA 20 .4 KU-RA 130, the last line of the text, .5 vacant; the tablet is broken above, and .1–3 keep 26 (GORILA III 193). A totaling word for Younger (Linear A Texts, ZA 20) and for Raison and Pope, Meriggi and Brice (Schoep 2002, 162). ARKH 2 .1–2 SI-DA-TE KU-RA *131B 5, ‘provisions in all: must 5’, at the head, over A-SI-DA-TO-I 12, ZU-*301-SE-DE-*21F-*118 6 and A-SU-PU-WA 4, which carry no logogram (GORILA III 6–7). kulla, the -a form of KU-RO kull: Amorite be-el-ku-ul-la (GlOS 1, 305); Old Assyrian nom. kulu, acc. kala (CAD K 87). RA for la, as RO for lu in KU-RO. Rival: a recipient, as ZA 10b DU-RE-ZA-SE *131B 5; the Alalakh place Ku-ra (AT 238:4, 66:17; Wiseman 1953, 155). Weak point: ARKH 2's must 5 stands against the 22 under it (12, 6, 4), so the total rests on ZA 20, broken above. Two witnesses, two sites. See KU-RO.
