Commentary

OLE with the adjunct DI: 12 tokens on 8 Haghia Triada tablets, beside OLE+MI on HT 14, HT 28a, HT 90 and HT 116a, a distinct oil class. DI writes the di- of dišpu ‘honey’ (CAD D 161), Heb. dəbaš ‘honey’ (HALOT 213): honeyed oil. Ugaritic uses nbt for honey (DULAT 610). Weak point: one adjunct sign stands for the whole word. See OLE+MI.
