Commentary
The tablet records two allocation sections. I-KA’s placement here and counted use on HT102 establish an administrative recipient/personnel category; Akkadian ikkaru ‘farmer’ is suggestive but requires omission of final /r/. *326 occurs only at or near the opening of three Haghia Triada lists. Commodity identities are secure for grain, olives, figs, and wine, but dagān, zayt, and wayn are proposed spoken labels. The oil adjuncts have plausible Semitic comparisons: kīnu ‘genuine,’ √ʿ-ṣ-r ‘press,’ and especially √m-š-ḥ ‘anoint’; none alone proves the Linear A reading. *304 and E remain unidentified commodities. TE-RI heads the second section as its recipient, Akk. tīru (tēru) ‘attendant, courtier’ (CAD T 429).
Epigraphic note
Two-section administrative allocation. I-KA functions as a recipient or personnel category; Akkadian ikkaru ‘farmer’ is a possible comparison, but Linear A I-KA omits final /r/. *326 is an unidentified administrative marker also found on HT35 and HT128a. GRA, OLIV, NI, and VIN securely denote grain, olives, figs, and wine; dagān, zayt, and wayn remain proposed spoken labels. OLE+KI, OLE+U, and OLE+MI are distinct oil subtypes; Semitic kīnu ‘genuine,’ √ʿ-ṣ-r ‘press,’ and √m-š-ḥ ‘anoint’ supply comparisons, strongest for MI, without proving the adjunct readings. *304 and E remain unidentified commodities; fat/tallow and dairy fat are tentative respectively. TE-RI opens the second allocation; ‘surplus’ is possible by comparison with √w-t-r/y-t-r, but its form is not established.
